YouTube Is OK, but TED and RSA Are Better
I love spending time on YouTube. As you know, I’ve got some of my favorite YouTube celebrities to keep up-to-date with (WheezyWaiter, DunkYourBagel, Barats & Bereta) as well as posting my own husky videos for the other husky freaks (yes, I’ve actually been called this).
But I would make the case to do the following: when looking for something to watch online, instead of YouTube or Hulu, please look to TED or the RSA. The content found on both of these sites are entertaining, interesting and though-provoking.
What The Heck is The RSA?
I think it was just last year that I learned about TED and how it’s goal, since my birth year — 1984 — was to bring people together from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment and Design. But it wasn’t until this morning I learned about the RSA.
For over 250 years, the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce has been engaging bright minds to share and develop solutions to today’s social challenges. Go to their website to learn more about who they are or check out some more of these awesome animated videos.
