Three days of juicing. Victory!
Wait, what? You didn’t make it to the 10 days! How can you consider that a victory, you ask? Simple! During those three days I only drank juice and while I felt like my brain was in a fog when I stopped I continued with clean eating (salads and such). There were chocolates (and the good kind too!) in the kitchen, the conference room and a stash at my own desk. I had none. Yesterday someone offered me Grimaldi’s pizza. Zip. Today there were donuts in the kitchen. Pass.
For goodness sake! I went to happy hour today and had vegetarian tacitos (-itos because they were so mini and instead of tortilla they used jicama). And not a drop of liquor.
Victory!
Will it last? Probably not. But that’s ok. As Joe Cross of Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead says “good on you for trying.”
And, I’m still juicing now for breakfast. Sometimes lunch.
Who knows, I may try juicing again and go longer than three days.
Don’t know what all the hype is about? Check out the trailer for Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead:
And if you try juicing, good on you.
I love that documentary. It certainly inspired me! I really enjoyed what he said when he said, “Good on you for trying. Not you’re a failure, but good for you.” Want to check out my juicing adventure? :)
